CNY Health Profession Test Prep was founded in spring 2017 by Mark Braiman (top), a biochemistry professor with more than 25 years of experience in the field, including teaching medical-school biochemistry at the University of Virginia Medical School in 1996-98, and 30 semesters of undergraduate and graduate biochemistry courses at Syracuse University from 1998-2018. 

To keep up-to-date with the most recent test format, Prof. Braiman has enlisted the partnership of two recent MCAT-takers. Charles Ryan (middle) received a B.S. degree in Biochemistry at Syracuse University in 2016, performed undergrad biochemistry research in Prof. Braiman's lab, and began an MD-PhD program at the University of Michigan in Fall 2017.  Prof. Braiman's nephew Matthew Braiman (bottom) graduated from the University of Rochester in 2017 with a degree in neuroscience, and is currently choosing among medical schools he has been offered admission to for Fall 2019. Our combined experience is a perfect match for helping students with the new, revised medical admissions test.
